Application support for Australian trade qualifications, TRA skills assessments and Queensland QBCC licences, with requirements checked for your intended work location.

Easy Licence

Trade qualification, skills assessment and licence application support

Easy Licence provides application support for trade qualifications and RPL, TRA skills assessments and Queensland QBCC licences. We help check requirements against your trade, work history and intended work location, organise evidence and follow up application documents and requests for further information. Licensing in other states and territories requires separate local checks.

  • Start with the actual trade

Understand your experience and intended work before identifying the qualification and licence documents you need.

  • Make the evidence clear

Organise employment dates, project records and existing qualifications, with a clear list of missing information.

  • Agree the service scope

Confirm the services, application steps and responsibilities before proceeding, so each step has a clear record.

  • Follow through on the process

Track programme-specific documents, further-information requests and assessment arrangements. Relevant bodies decide assessment outcomes; QBCC determines Queensland building licences.

OUR SERVICES

A clear application pathway for your trade experience

Easy Licence provides application support for people preparing trade qualifications, skills assessments or Queensland building licences. You may have years of practical experience, hold an overseas qualification or be preparing to take on a different scope of work. We start with your circumstances and discuss the relevant service.

Trade qualifications & RPL

We help experienced tradespeople organise employment history, project records and existing qualifications for assessment. The relevant registered training organisation determines what prior learning can be recognised and whether further training is needed.

TRA skills assessment

We help identify the relevant programme for your trade and assessment purpose, organise employment and qualification evidence, and follow up document requirements. A TRA skills assessment is a separate process from obtaining a trade qualification or licence.

Queensland QBCC licence applications

We help organise requirements for your intended building work and individual or company application, prepare documents and follow up further-information requests. The licence class, qualifications and other conditions must be checked individually; QBCC decides the outcome.

HOW WE WORK

Know what to prepare at each step

  1. 01

Define the work you want to do

Tell us your trade, experience, existing qualifications and intended state or territory. Clarify whether you need a qualification, skills assessment or licence before preparing the application.

  2. 02

Agree the scope and evidence list

For the selected process, identify the documents, missing information and responsibilities. Confirm the service scope before proceeding, including the separate roles of any training provider, assessor or regulator.

  3. 03

    Organise the application

Organise your employment timeline, project records and qualification documents, and check consistency. Evidence must be genuine and verifiable; unsupported work claims cannot replace application requirements.

  4. 04

Follow up and explain the next step

Within the agreed scope, help follow up further-information requests, assessment arrangements and application progress. Explain the result documents and next application steps; the relevant body makes the decision.

Check requirements for the place you will work

Qualifications, skills assessments and licences serve different purposes. Holding a qualification does not automatically authorise regulated work in every location. QBCC covers relevant Queensland building licences; electrical, plumbing and other work also require checks against the applicable regulator and scope.

If you plan to work in another state or territory, tell us the location and work scope. We will first check the local requirements and the support we can provide.

Start your enquiry with four things

  • Your trade and the tasks you have performed
  • Your work history and location
  • Any qualifications, assessments or licences you hold
  • Your application goal and intended work location

Start with an overview. You do not need to send passports, bank details or complete identity documents for an initial discussion.
